Precision aerospace-grade, high-strength close-tolerance machine screw (PN: NAS4703-18) manufactured from premium 8740 hardened alloy steel. Features a fine 10-32 UNF-3A right-hand thread profile engineered with a precision-controlled grip length of 1.125 inches (1-1/8") and an overall shank length of 1.448 inches (1-7/16"). Designed with a specialized 100-degree reduced countersunk flat head featuring a high-torque Tri-Slot (Tri-Wing) recess to prevent driver cam-out during structural installation. Finished with a yellow cadmium/chromate plating providing exceptional protection against atmospheric corrosion, wear, and mechanical fatigue in smooth, flush-surface airframe skin and structural shear assemblies.
