Precision aerospace-grade, high-strength close-tolerance hex head shear bolt (PN: NAS1306-25D) manufactured from premium carbon alloy steel. Features a fine 3/8-24 UNJF-3A thread profile engineered with a highly controlled 0.375-inch nominal shank diameter to optimize precision structural shear loading fits. Designed with an unthreaded grip length of 1.562 inches, configured with a solid, undrilled hex head and a precision cross-drilled hole through the threaded shank to facilitate positive mechanical locking via a cotter pin or safety wire. Protected with a protective sleeve over the precision grip area and finished with a yellow cadmium/chromate plating for exceptional protection against corrosion and wear in high-stress aviation environments.
