High-performance, single-piece aircraft static discharger wick engineered by Cobham Chelton to continuously bleed off triboelectric static charge accumulations. Features an ultra-lightweight carbon fiber resistive matrix structure measuring approximately 7.83 inches in length encased inside a heavy-duty weatherized protective jacket. Designed with a distinct carbon needle discharge tip configuration calibrated to provide an isolated 40 dB RF noise mitigation index to preserve cockpit communications and telemetry systems from corona discharge interference. Built with an integrated high-conductivity aluminum alloy base body configured for tool-free modular slider mounting integration onto trailing-edge wing tip or tail assembly distribution tracks.
