The lubricant has a distinctive amber color, so it's easy to see where it has been applied and once in place, the geese leave behind a dry, protective film that won't attract dirt, dust or other contaminants. LPS® 1 Greaseless Lubricant works like a traditional lubricant, potting against friction and wear, but without the sticky feel and tendency to attract dirt or other contaminants. Dry-film lubricants are ideal for use in aircraft engines, turbines and other areas where dirt accumulation is more likely.
