Premium military-standard (AN919-7D / AS5174D0605) straight flared tube reducer union fitting crafted from lightweight, high-tensile blue anodized aluminum alloy for extreme corrosion protection. Designed to provide a concentric step-down interface between a larger 3/8-inch outer diameter (O.D.) aircraft line down to a smaller 5/16-inch O.D. line. Features standard external 37-degree convex seats on both ends—a 9/16-18 UNJF-3A thread on the large port and a 1/2-20 UNF-3A thread on the small port—flanking a central hex-wrenching nut to guarantee a leak-proof mechanical seal under operating pressures up to 3,000 PSI.
