Constructed from a single-ply, silicone-rubber-impregnated fiberglass fabric body securely vulcanized and wrapped around a high-tensile spring steel wire helix to prevent structural collapse under vacuum pressure or sharp bending. Features an integrated external fiberglass cording wrap to maintain structural pitch uniformity, absorb low-frequency vibration, and protect against friction in compact airframe interstitial spaces.
