Heavy-duty flexible Scat ducting hose assembly engineered for low-pressure air distribution and environmental control systems (ECS) within aerospace applications. Constructed from a single-ply, silicone-rubber-impregnated fiberglass fabric body securely vulcanized and wrapped around a high-tensile spring steel wire helix to prevent structural collapse under suction or tight-radius bending. Wrapped externally with highly durable fiberglass cording to maintain structural pitch uniformity, absorb vibration, and maximize abrasion resistance in tight airframe interstitial spaces. Designed to withstand a wide extreme temperature operational range from -65°F to +500°F, making it optimally suited for cockpit heating, cabin ventilation routing, and electronic equipment cooling configurations.
