Technical Description

High-durability shielded turbine engine ignition lead assembly engineered to transmit high-voltage electrical energy from the exciter unit to the engine igniter plug. Constructed with a heavy-gauge multi-strand copper core conductor surrounded by thick fluoropolymer dielectric insulation, wrapped in a high-density, anti-chafing stainless steel wire shielding braid to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI) inside the airframe. Outfitted with factory-terminated couplings, featuring an integrated 90-degree elbow configuration on one terminal end and a straight mechanical connection on the opposing end to allow flexible, low-stress routing paths within tight engine nacelle envelopes. Delivered with high-visibility yellow protective terminal caps to insulate threads and preserve moisture-free internal contact surfaces prior to integration.
