High-performance active L1-band aviation GPS antenna designed for low-drag external fuselage installations. Operates at a center frequency of 1575.42 MHz with a Right Hand Circular Polarization (RHCP) matrix and a 50 Ohm nominal impedance path. Housed in a weatherable, impact-resistant polymer teardrop radome rated for structural operations up to an altitude of 70,000 feet within a thermal operating window of -55C to +85C. Built with an internal low-noise amplifier providing up to 38 dB of active signal gain while pulling a nominal 50 mA current loop. Tailored with a standard ARINC-type 4-hole surface mounting base footprint utilizing an integrated female TNC connector interface.
