High-strength, low-profile all-metal L-band blade antenna engineered for premium mechanical durability across business, commercial, and military aircraft profiles. Operates over a frequency distribution range of 960 MHz to 1,220 MHz with a vertical polarization, hemispherical radiation pattern, and 50 Ohm nominal impedance path specialized for precise DME and ATC transponder interrogation. Provides high side load structural rigidity to resist hangar handling damage, complete with a fully moisture-sealed envelope and direct DC short-circuit lightning strike suppression. Tailored with a standard aerodynamic 6-hole surface mounting flange and an integrated HN-type male connector interface.
